Shrink wrapping is a process where an item is wrapped in a free sleeve or envelope of loose shrink film, the heat is applied to shrink the wrap firmly around the product. The result is a tight, crystal clear wrap around your item. Shrink wrapping is typically stronger than alternative wrapping solutions like overwraps or stretch wraps. They also conform more tightly to the product shape, usually simply producing a thin amount of plastic over the perimeter of your products.
Shrink wrapping film comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, different products usually need different types of shrink film, all types of shrink film require different heat settings and exposure to heat for proper shrinking, the most common types of shrink wrapped used to package tea box are PVC and polyolefin, because the thickness of shrink film, and most products do not spend more than a few seconds going through a shrink tunnel, so this will stop them from damaging and make it a good choice of packaging for tea box.
A well-wrapped products should not require a large amount of heat for the film to be shrunk, especially for the extremely sensitive products, it's important to find a solution that does not jeopardise the product's integrity.
